1. Service Description

SortSpend provides an AI-powered expense categorisation service. You upload PDF bank statements or expense reports, and our service extracts and categorises transactions using artificial intelligence.

2. Account & Credits

• You must sign in with a Google account to use the upload service.
• New accounts receive 3 free credits. Each PDF upload consumes 1 credit.
• Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious files or content
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits or authentication
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload documents you do not have the right to process

4. Data & Privacy

Your use of SortSpend is also governed by our Privacy Policy. PDFs are processed in memory and immediately discarded — we do not store your documents.

5. AI Accuracy

Transaction categorisation is performed by AI and may contain errors. SortSpend is a tool to assist with expense categorisation, not a replacement for professional accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all categorised results.

6. Limitation of Liability

SortSpend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any inaccuracies in categorisation, data loss, or any damages arising from use of the service.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
